“I am an artist”

If our arts and culture sector had an accessible and resilient funding infrastructure, parents would be excited to hear their children wanted to be artists.

We are encouraging our young people to continue to pursue these creative pathways that they’re not solely waiting on their number to hit in Hollywood, or whatever the equivalent is in the other disciplines, because destination becomes the thing. Instead, it is “I am an artist and this is how I want to make my living.”
